Definition

Account equity is your account balance plus or minus any unrealized profit or loss from open positions. It represents the current value of your trading account and fluctuates with market movements.

Example

With $10,000 balance and $500 unrealized profit on open trades, your equity is $10,500. If trades show -$300 loss, equity becomes $9,700.
